Was anyone expecting this? While I missed the actual show, I heard through the grapevine that the remaining idols performed “Shout to the Lord.” Honestly, I didn’t believe it until I saw it with my own two eyes.

Ok...so you've located the place where I put down my random thoughts. The key word here is random: music, sports, art, food, books, news, spiritual musings, weird stories, etc. I'm especially interested in how everyday experiences of life intersect with the ancient stories of Scripture. Random Thoughts 
Wow! I have been keeping up a little bit with American Idol and so has my mom. This is awesome that they sang this on one of the most popular shows on today! God works in crazy ways! I actually didn’t get to see the beginning of this one but I did watch the end of it. Amazing.
I can’t believe it! I wish I could have been in the audience. I would have been apraisin’ and ashoutin’ unabashedly. Absolutely awesome.
Good for American Idol and their advertisers. It took some guts to put this on a secular show.
This is one of the only prime-time shows we will let our 8-year-old watch, which is sad but that’s how it is. Even though it can be a little mean-spirited on occasion, for the most part, it’s harmless.
PS – When I was that age, my favorite shows were “Starsky & Hutch” and “Three’s Company”, so I’m not saying TV was morally superior back in “the good old days” by any means.
